Welcome to the website of the Choir of St Michael's Church, Sittingbourne.

The church sits at the bottom end of the High Street, and is the main Parish Church of Sittingbourne.

Services held at St Michael's are traditional services, with sung settings, hymns and anthems during communion.

The services attended by the choir are Sunday morning Eucharist (Holy Communion) and one Choral Evensong every month (and special services where required).

Sunday morning services start at 10 o'clock, and Evensong is on the second Sunday, starting at 6:30pm.

As well as our weekly Friday practice, we always practise on Sunday mornings at about 20 to 10 and an hour before Choral Evensong (5:30pm).

Sermon Series - The Psalms

Through July and August, our preaching will focus on the Psalms. These ancient hymns, prayers and poems are found at the heart of Jewish and Christian worship, and they express the whole range of human emotion.
Join us as we explore their meaning for then and for now, using them as tools in our own walk with God.
