Welcome to the website of the Choir of St Michael's Church, Sittingbourne.

The church sits at the bottom end of the High Street, and is the main Parish Church of Sittingbourne.

Services held at St Michael's are traditional services, with sung settings, hymns and anthems during communion.

The services attended by the choir are Sunday morning Eucharist (Holy Communion) and one Choral Evensong every month (and special services where required).

Sunday morning services start at 10 o'clock, and Evensong is on the second Sunday, starting at 6:30pm.

As well as our weekly Friday practice, we always practise on Sunday mornings at about 20 to 10 and an hour before Choral Evensong (5:30pm).

Sermon Series - Finding Happiness

Throughout the autumn, our preaching will focus on the book Finding Happiness. This is a follow-up to the series Finding Sanctuary from last year.
In the book, Abbot Christopher examines different aspects of happiness and tells us what monastic wisdom has to say about them. In doing so, he offers steps for the journey of finding happiness.
We will study these principles and see how we can apply them to our worship.
